Flutter ceases listing in London and switches to a sole listing on the New York Stock Exchange.

Flutter Entertainment officially canceled its listing on the main board of the London Stock Exchange on August 3, and its common stock will only be traded on the New York Stock Exchange in the future. The company stated that this move can reduce the cost of maintaining a dual listing and make the capital market structure closer to the growth of the US business driven by FanDuel. Its consumer brands and license operations in the UK and Ireland remain unchanged.

Flutter ends London listing and switches to a single listing on the New York Stock Exchange

New York has become the main listing location by 2024

Flutter entered the New York market in January 2024, and set NYSE as the main listing location in May of the same year, with London retained as a secondary listing. After a two-year transition, the company believes that the trading volume in London and the cost of dual compliance are not sufficient to support its continuation.

The last trading day in London is July 31

The company's last full trading day in London was July 31, 2026, with a closing price of 75.88 GBP, lower than the opening price of 81.38 GBP the previous week. Short-term price changes are influenced by both market and company factors and cannot solely explain the decision to delist.

US revenue now accounts for more than 40% of the group

Flutter's total revenue in the first quarter increased by 17% year-on-year to 4.3 billion USD, of which US revenue was 1.76 billion USD, accounting for 41% of the group. The scale of FanDuel in online sports betting in the US has continuously increased the importance of North American investors, analyst coverage, and US dollar capital.

Delisting does not mean exiting UK and Ireland operations

Paddy Power, Sky Betting & Gaming, Betfair, and tombola continue to operate in the UK and Ireland, which remains one of the main sources of revenue for the group. Changes occur at the level of stock trading and capital markets, not at the consumer brand or license level.

The company's listing history spans over twenty years

Paddy Power entered the London market in 2000, merged with Betfair in 2016, accelerated the expansion of FanDuel after the opening of US sports betting in 2018, and adopted the Flutter name in 2019. The listing migration continues the path of gradually shifting the business focus to the US.

Single listing increases focus but also market concentration

Trading only on the NYSE can simplify disclosures, investor communications, and capital allocation, but it also reduces local liquidity in London and increases dependence on the US market valuation environment. Subsequent observations should include changes in shareholder structure, trading volume, financing costs, and governance of UK and Ireland operations.
