I've always been quite interested in emigrating. Recently, I've looked into popular emigration paths in China and it seems that for middle-aged or older individuals, the most reliable way to find a job and stay abroad is to study a migration-oriented major, such as one of the "Three Treasures." Previously, a friend of mine managed to successfully emigrate through a work-study program even though they didn't choose one of the "Three Treasures" majors; however, it's still uncertain whether they can stay permanently.
