Is the dress code for entering the building only aimed at Chinese people, or does everyone have to follow it? Today I saw a colleague who was wearing shorts being stopped at the entrance, but there are two sets of elevators here. One set seems to be for the local people, and the other is for employees working on designated floors. Their women wear short skirts to work, and I even saw a European person enter wearing flip-flops once.
