Today (8th), the "Joint Statement of the Government of the People's Republic of China and the Government of the Kingdom of Thailand on Facing the Future, People-Centered, Strengthening Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, and Promoting a More Stable, More Prosperous, and More Sustainable Sino-Thai Community of Shared Destiny" was released.

The statement mentioned that both sides emphasized, under bilateral and Lancang-Mekong cooperation mechanisms, a zero-tolerance firm attitude to strengthen the fight against transnational crimes such as human trafficking, telecommunications network fraud, drug smuggling, illegal online gambling, and money laundering, and to carry out joint patrols and law enforcement actions on the Mekong River.

Both parties will further discuss establishing an appropriate coordinated cooperation mechanism as soon as possible to effectively combat online gambling and telecommunications fraud. Both sides agree to actively participate in the "Safe Lancang-Mekong Operation," jointly promote Lancang-Mekong judicial cooperation, and safeguard the life and property safety of the people in the region.

The statement not only talks about combating fraud but also "illegal online gambling," it seems we need to find another place.
