On June 19, the Philippine gaming regulatory authority PAGCOR launched a new platform called "Pagcor Guarantee," specifically designed to provide players with a service to check for legal gambling websites, aiming to combat the increasingly rampant illegal online gambling chaos.
PAGCOR Chairman Teng Ke stated that in recent years, there have been continuous complaints from players: some unlicensed websites refuse to pay out winnings, are involved in fraud, and tax evasion issues, severely infringing on consumer rights. After the new platform is launched, players can check at any time whether a website has a PAGCOR authorization license, ensuring they "don't fall into traps before gambling."
Teng Ke emphasized that "Pagcor Guarantee" will become the first line of defense against illegal gambling and promised that the platform will be updated in real-time with a list of legal licensed merchants, ensuring players can entertain themselves with peace of mind.
Furthermore, PAGCOR once again reminds the public: gambling should be rational, and participation by individuals under the age of 21 is prohibited. The regulatory body will continue to promote the industry towards a legal, transparent, and responsible direction.
