The Government of the Argentine province of Formosa, through the Social Assistance Institute (IAS), successfully carries out the "Accessible Summer" program, starting Wednesday, January 15 at the facilities of the camping site of the Mutual Association of Employees of the Social Assistance Institute (AMEIAS), located on Route 11 KM 14. With free access, the initiative offers a space for enjoyment and learning through various adapted recreational activities.

An inclusive program for well-being

Like every year, the IAS has organized the summer camp "Accessible Summer", an inclusive proposal aimed at children and youth with disabilities who are part of the various social programs implemented by the agency.

Participants attend the activities for free on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 8:00 to 11:00 AM. During each session, they are accompanied by professionals from the IAS, who guide and adapt the playful proposals according to the needs of each group.

Activities that promote autonomy and learning

The agency highlights that "Accessible Summer" offers a space of inclusion and learning, where participants were able to enjoy adapted aquatic and recreational activities. Among the proposals are water games, visits to the farm to interact with animals, and sessions in the Sensory Stimulation Room, designed to improve the perception and interaction of the youth with their environment.

Furthermore, they emphasize the equestrian experience, an activity that has proven to be highly beneficial for the physical and emotional development of the participants. In this sense, the AMEIAS site has transformed into a conducive space for offering experiences that stimulated the overall well-being of the attending children and youth.

Through these activities, the "Accessible Summer" program reaffirms its commitment to inclusion, recreation, and autonomy of the participants, ensuring an enriching summer in a safe and stimulating environment.
