The gaming establishment seeks to enhance its entertainment offerings for tourists.
Argentina.- Although the peak tourist season in the coastal cities of the Province of Buenos Aires has passed, casinos continue to attract visitors who take advantage of the summer season on their vacations.
In this regard, the Casino Central de Mar del Plata, the most important gaming and entertainment center in the province, announced that for the second half of February, it will renew the show lineup at the Sala Bristol.
The entertainment schedule for the gaming room, which was programmed together with the Teatro Auditorium, includes:
Tickets are on sale from 7 PM at the door of the Teatro Auditorium or through the Plateanet system.
Additionally, the Casino joins the Carnival 2025 celebrations with a special event on Saturday, March 1st starting at 8 PM in the table and machine room. The event will feature performances by Mar del Plata comparsas parading alongside live bands playing in the main hall.
Although the season has not yet ended, casino workers conducted a review of what January was like, the most important month for gaming establishments located in tourist spots.
As part of the reopening of the Casino Uthgra Sasso de Mar del Plata, which resumed operations on January 30, after being closed for 20 days, Marcos Labrador, president of the National Casino Employees Association (AECN), spoke with the local media El Marplatense and said: "We saw that in January the city had a strong influx of visitors on weekends and a significant drop on the remaining days. The reality is that the indicators passed to us from the Province indicate that traffic flow to the city was 10 percent less than the same period but from the previous year."
And, regarding the assessment of the casino industry, he said: "We must make an evaluation of the planning that was carried out, in the context of the economic situation the country is experiencing, and only then could we say that the season was within the expected parameters."
