FIFA announced that the online sports betting brand Betano will become the official partner for the South American region of the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup. This partnership is a continuation of the relationship between Betano and FIFA, which began during the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
Betano is part of Kaizen Gaming, and this support is for the first-ever FIFA Club World Cup featuring 32 clubs. The tournament will take place from June 14 to July 13, 2025, in various cities across the United States. As an official partner, the Betano brand will be prominently featured throughout the event.
George Daskalakis, co-founder and CEO of Kaizen Gaming, stated: "We were the first betting brand to sponsor the 2022 World Cup, and we are incredibly proud to collaborate with FIFA again for the 2025 Club World Cup. This is the first major global club competition, bringing together the top teams and players, which is of great significance."
The 2025 FIFA Club World Cup will gather top clubs from six continents, including Premier League powerhouses Chelsea and Manchester City, La Liga giants Real Madrid, MLS's Inter Miami, and traditional South American strong team Boca Juniors, aiming to usher in a new era of world club football.
Romy Gai, FIFA's Chief Commercial Officer, said: "We are delighted to collaborate once again with Kaizen Gaming and its Betano brand. We are both committed to enhancing the fan experience, and we achieved good results during the 2022 World Cup. Betano has grown rapidly over the past three years, and we look forward to this partnership resonating with fans once again."
This partnership also continues Betano's expansion strategy in the global sports market. In May 2025, Betano just signed a three-year sponsorship deal with Danish Superliga team Brøndby, marking its official entry into the Danish market.
