As Starcasino rapidly expands in the Dutch sports betting market, the company has officially announced its membership in the International Betting Integrity Association (IBIA) to further enhance the fairness of sports events and the safety of customer betting.
The newly launched Dutch sports betting platform of Starcasino is supported by Altenar, which is already an important member of IBIA. This membership makes Starcasino part of a global network of over 80 companies and 140 sports betting brands under IBIA, which monitors over $300 billion in sports betting transactions annually.
Kylian Olierook, the director of Starcasino's Dutch branch, stated: "Joining IBIA is an important move in our commitment to fair and honest sports betting. Together with our partner Altenar, we will prevent manipulation of sports events and ensure player safety. Through the IBIA platform, we will actively track and report unusual betting activities to maintain market health."
Khalid Ali, CEO of IBIA, also stated: "We welcome Starcasino to IBIA. This collaboration will strengthen our monitoring capabilities in the Netherlands and globally, demonstrating our shared commitment to maintaining the integrity of sports betting."
It is worth mentioning that IBIA now covers about 90% of the licensed sports betting market in the Netherlands. Following the recent introduction of PawaTech to expand monitoring capabilities in the African market, IBIA's membership continues to grow, further consolidating its global industry leadership position.
