As the Philippine gaming industry transitions to digitalization, the three major integrated resort operators—Solaire Resort, Newport World Resorts, and Okada Manila—jointly issued a statement reaffirming their full compliance with the regulatory framework of the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR), emphasizing that digital platforms will continue the compliance and responsible gaming standards of their offline operations.
The statement pointed out that the three operators have launched key features on their platforms including deposit limits, self-exclusion mechanisms, age verification, and KYC (Know Your Customer) processes completed within 72 hours. Additionally, to ensure that services are limited to users within the Philippines, each platform has also implemented geofencing and IP filtering measures.
The operators emphasized that all gaming content is assessed by PAGCOR before going live, and advertising promotions also need to be approved by the Advertising Standards Council. In daily operations, the platforms undergo regular audits, and employees must be licensed and participate in annual compliance training.
Newport also clarified that the group is integrating existing systems rather than developing a new app, in response to the growing market demand. The parent company Alliance Global has noted that digital gaming now accounts for nearly half of the revenue from Philippine casinos.
The three entertainment cities receive over two million visitors annually, employ more than 30,000 people, and actively participate in medical, educational, and disaster relief social welfare activities, committed to creating a responsible and transparent gaming ecosystem.
