Located in Clark, Philippines, the Hann Casino Resort is set to unveil its major expansion project "The Canyon" this Friday. This brand-new multi-level entertainment area will significantly enhance the resort's gaming capacity and introduce a new immersive design and dining concept, directly responding to the growing tourism and leisure market demand in Central Luzon.

Hardware Upgrade: A Surge in Tables and Slot Machines
The core of "The Canyon" expansion project is the enlargement of the gaming space. According to the plan, the new area will increase the number of slot machines by about 50% and the number of public gambling tables by about 40%. Currently, the resort has about 1000 slot machines and 200 gambling tables, and just the first floor alone will add exactly 584 slot machines and 34 gambling tables. Upon completion of the entire project, it will bring more than 500 new slot machines and over 60 new gambling tables. Dennis Andreachi, the resort's Senior Vice President of Operations, admits that the existing casino is often saturated during peak periods and weekends, making expansion necessary, while also providing a testing space for new games not yet introduced in the Philippines.
More Than Gambling: "Immersive" Design and New Dining
The design inspiration for "The Canyon" comes from nature, aiming to create an immersive environment that integrates rock layers, greenery, and atrium layouts. In addition to gaming, the project also enriches the resort's dining options. The first phase of the area will introduce "Canyon Café and Cellar" and the "Three Pots" restaurant offering Korean, Chinese, and Japanese cuisine. According to the PASA official website, this approach of combining natural themes with diversified dining is becoming a key strategy for integrated resorts to enhance non-gaming attractions. In the future, the project will also add a high-end Asian restaurant "Pearl" and a social coffee lounge.
Funding and Vision: 6 Billion Loan and Long-Term Planning
To support this large-scale expansion, Hann Philippines Corporation has obtained a comprehensive loan of 6 billion pesos (approximately 102 million USD) from Asia United Bank and Union Bank. The banks are very confident in this project, believing that Hann has demonstrated its commitment to innovation and growth. Han Dexi, the company's Chairman and CEO, also expressed gratitude to the partners for their support. In addition to the Clark expansion, the Hann Group is also simultaneously advancing the "Hann Sanctuary" project in New Clark City, which includes a golf course designed by Nick Faldo, expected to open in February next year, showing its ambitious long-term layout in the Philippine leisure tourism market.
