The betting scale of top players is even more staggering—table game consultant Bill Zender told iGB last year that the highest-level players can reach or exceed $100,000 per hand. But until now, the strategy of increasing or decreasing side bets has still been an "inexact science." Clearer data can help operators determine which side bets perform best, how the probability distribution of specific side bet patterns looks, and how side bets should be arranged—"how many to place, whether squeezing them together will reduce participation, which combinations are optimal," are all issues Azizsoltani believes are worth exploring in depth. Simply put, RFID has transformed Baccarat from being "managed by experience" to being "managed by data," making every bet on the table unprecedentedly transparent.
