Sports betting software provider Betby has now successfully obtained the Peruvian market certification issued by Gaming Laboratories International (GLI), a key step in its Latin American expansion strategy. This certification confirms that its platform meets the strict requirements of Peru in terms of gaming functionality, information security management systems, and related technical standards.

Betby's Legal and Compliance Director, Ilze Ramolina, noted that the Peruvian market is of great significance to the company. This certification not only paves the way for its legal operation in Peru but also marks a solid first step in its deeper Latin American layout. She emphasized, "The Peruvian market is gradually establishing a clear online sports betting regulatory framework, and we want to seize this opportunity."

It is worth mentioning that this is not Betby's first certification in Latin America. In January this year, Betby obtained GLI certification for its Brazilian market solution and will officially go live in this regulated market on January 1, 2025.

Betby is currently expanding its regional influence steadily through cooperation with local operators and aggregation platforms. For example, it has entered into a long-term partnership with the Peruvian B2B platform Calímaco, integrating its AI-driven Betby.Games and odds risk management system into Calímaco's products, covering over 300,000 events and more than 8,000 betting markets.

The expansion in Latin America is not only reflected in market coverage, but Betby is also combining localization strategies with AI innovation. Betby CCO Chris Nikolopoulos stated that the company relies on the AI Labs system to provide end operators with user behavior prediction, betting recommendations, and risk control tools, helping operators improve user retention and revenue.
