Betano has officially confirmed the details of its partnership with Brazilian football powerhouse Flamengo Club, announcing that the sponsorship agreement will extend until the end of 2028. This collaboration is hailed as the largest sponsorship contract in the history of Brazilian football.
The agreement covers a wide range, including not only Flamengo's men's and women's professional football teams but also volleyball, basketball, and other Olympic sports, as well as the club's broadcasting platform—Flamengo TV. This means that Betano's brand will be deeply integrated into the club's diversified sports business.
George Daskalakis, co-founder and CEO of Kaizen Gaming, which operates the Betano brand, stated: "Sponsoring Flamengo is a strategic decision that has connected us with the largest and most passionate fan base in Brazil, further consolidating our impact in the local and global markets. We are fully aware of the responsibility this partnership entails and are committed to walking the path of success together with the club."
Luis Eduardo Baptista, president of Flamengo, emphasized: "The partnership with Betano is of historical significance for the club. It is not only the largest sponsorship in the Brazilian football community but will also aid in our development in football and Olympic sports, promote internationalization, and further give back to the fans."
It is noteworthy that Betano's sports partnership portfolio now spans across Europe and Latin America, including collaborations with Bayern Munich, River Plate, Aston Villa, Porto, Sporting Lisbon, and Benfica. This partnership with Flamengo further expands its investment portfolio.
Additionally, the agreement also incorporates social and sports development projects, highlighting the commitment of Betano and Flamengo to promote community and social responsibility.
