The agreement is still pending approval by the club's review committee and is expected to be finalized later this week.
Under the partnership, Betano's brand will cover Flamengo's men's professional football team, women's football team, volleyball, and basketball Olympic projects, as well as the club's own media platform FlamengoTV. This means that the sponsorship extends beyond traditional jersey advertising to comprehensive sports and media exposure.
Flamengo's previous four-year partnership with Pixbet, once considered the largest club sponsorship in Brazil, has ended. This agreement was associated with the team's successive victories in the Libertadores Cup, Brazilian Cup, and Super Cup.
This collaboration with Betano not only highlights Flamengo's commercial appeal as a top club but also reflects the significant role of betting sponsorships in the Brazilian sports industry. Betano has been accelerating its global layout in recent years, having established long-term partnerships with European powerhouses such as Bayern Munich and Sporting Lisbon.
